Existing grass, roots, and debris are removed using professional sod cutters. All material is hauled away, leaving a clean worksite.
We excavate 3–4 inches and install a compacted aggregate base (decomposed granite or crushed stone) that provides drainage and a stable foundation. Compacted to 90%+ Proctor density.
Heavy-duty landscape fabric is installed to prevent weed intrusion through the base over time — an often-skipped step that separates professional from amateur installs.
Turf panels are measured and cut precisely. Seams are secured with seaming tape and specialized adhesive — invisible when done correctly. This is where experience truly matters.
Perimeter nails and staples anchor the turf firmly at all edges and transitions. Hardscape edges are secured with specialty trim or bender board for a clean, professional finish.
Silica sand or specialty infill is power-broomed into the turf fibers. Infill provides fiber support, weight, cushioning, and helps regulate temperature. This step is critical to long-term performance.
A power broom lifts fibers to their natural upright position. We perform a full inspection and then walk the finished installation with you, ensuring every detail meets our standards and yours.
